Special Procedures – Local Authority Training Event in Wales, UK

Dr. Sarah Jones, a Senior Environmental Health Advisor for the Wales government, is working in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) for this event. This face to face gathering is to support regulators in Wales to prepare for the introduction and implementation of the mandatory licensing scheme in Wales later this year. It is a really useful opportunity to engage with all local authorities in Wales as well as colleagues from Public Health Wales and promote your products and the work you have done in the body piercing sector.

The event will be held at the Metropole Hotel, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells LD1 5DY on Wednesday 1^st May 2024 (the location is central to ensure maximum access by all 22 local authorities in Wales). At this event we will have some invited special procedure practitioners demonstrating the use of their equipment, UKAPP have committed to attending to support us with this. We anticipate in excess of 100 delegates attending.
